MEET THE FOUNDER—
Hello, I’m Mel.
Over my 20 year career in London, I worked with some of the top financial institutions in the City of London in various roles as a Team Assistant, Executive Assistant and Personal Assistant. Working with Traders, Portfolio Managers and Sales Managers for these global companies ensured I quickly picked up some key skills, including working under pressure to tight deadlines, keeping in step with ever-changing technology and managing relationships within busy office environments.
My managers and peers have always spoken highly of me: I am discreet, forward-thinking, self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. These attributes contributed to me wanting to work with like-minded people, and after having my son I took the plunge and decided to set up my own business, working with businesses closer to home, in Essex.
Working as a Virtual Assistant has been life-changing for me. I am able to work flexibly, virtually, and build personal relationships with many of my clients over the years: some of whom are now good friends.
One of my strengths is identifying a client’s needs; sometimes even before they realise they need my help! VAA is the next step for me: developing a network of hardworking, personable VA’s and introducing them to the most relevant business, based on their skills and personality.
